Gemini Font and Gemini Font Pro are browser extensions that improve reading comfort on Google Gemini and, in the Pro version, Google AI Studio. This privacy policy explains what data the extensions handle and how that data is used.

Short summary: The extensions do not collect, sell, share, or transmit your personal data or chat content to our servers. Settings are stored by the browser so the extension can remember your preferences.

Data We Do Not Collect

The extensions do not collect or transmit:

Personal information such as name, email address, or account identifiers.
Browsing history.
Gemini or AI Studio chat content, prompts, responses, files, or messages.
Analytics, telemetry, or usage tracking data.
Cookies or advertising identifiers.

Data Stored by the Extension

The extension stores only user preferences needed for its features. These preferences may include:

Font family, Arabic font selection, font size, line height, and text color.
Highlight style and right-to-left display preference.
Extension enabled or disabled state.
Pro display preferences such as chat width, full-width mode, code font, and per-script font mode.

These settings are saved using Chrome's chrome.storage.sync API. If Chrome Sync is enabled in the user's browser, Chrome may sync these settings across the user's signed-in Chrome browsers. We do not operate a server that receives, stores, or processes these settings.

The extension runs locally in the browser to adjust fonts, text direction, spacing, colors, and layout on supported pages. It may inspect page text locally to detect Arabic text and apply right-to-left or per-script font behavior. This processing happens inside the browser. The extension does not send page content, prompts, or responses to our servers.

Third-Party Services

The extension does not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, remote logging, or external APIs to process user data.

Data Sharing and Sale

We do not sell, rent, share, or transfer user data to third parties. We do not use user data for advertising or profiling.

Data Security

The preferences described above are stored through browser-provided extension storage. We do not have access to the user's local browser storage or Chrome Sync account data.
